Austria’s highest cable car – the Wildspitzbahn – transports winter guests into the eternal ice. You can ascend from the valley station to 2,840 metres above sea level and then to the 3,440 metre high Hintere Brunnenkogel peak. The famous ““Café 3.440“ awaits – Austria’s highest coffee house with its own cake creations, free-floating terrace and glass frontage, providing panoramic views of over fifty 3,000 metre peaks.
Attractive pistes, deep powder snow slopes, a six kilometre long toboggan run and charming catered mountain huts will have winter enthusiasts leaping with joy. Due to its altitude at 1,450 to 2,450 metres and its new artificial snow equipment the ski resort can guarantee undimmed ski and snowboard fun until late spring.
Skigebiet Rifflsee ski resort at the end of the valley is connected with Pitztal glacier ski resort. It offers additional pistes for fun carving fans and aficionados with catered mountain huts during a winter holiday in Pitztal.
Leave your car behind while you are on vacation. The regional ski bus takes you to the ski areas for free. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel! And you have also made a small contribution to the environment.
